Submitting individual abstracts and panel proposals

All abstracts and panel proposals must be submitted via the online submission system. Abstracts sent by email will not be accepted. Presentations can be in English or Turkish. For papers that will be presented in Turkish, both English and Turkish abstracts should be submitted. For Turkish papers, enter the Turkish and English versions of the abstract to the “abstract” field on the submission page. Do not upload any attachments for individual paper submissions.

Individual abstracts should be 300-500 words and include the scope, theoretical framework, aims, methods, and, where applicable, results of the study. Each presentation will be 20 minutes.

Panel proposals should consist of three to four individual contributors and be coordinated by the panel proposer as a single proposal. Presentations will be 15 minutes each with 10 minutes allocated to a discussion led by the panel chair. Proposals for panels should include a description of the proposed panel explaining its rationale (300 words) and abstracts for each of the papers (300 words) each. For panel submission, select the panel proposer as the corresponding author and add the panelists as additional authors. Upload a single attachment including the panel description and paper abstracts. Do not include any personal information in the attachment. Proposals for panels in English should be submitted only in English. Proposals for panels in Turkish should be both in Turkish and in English.

Please note, a participant can be nominated as the primary author in one submission only. Under no circumstances should there be more than two submissions bearing the name of the same participant, either as primary or co-author.
